Paul van Dyk
Paul van Dyk (16 de diciembre de 1971, Eisenhüttenstadt, Brandenburgo), cuyo nombre real es Matthias Paul, es un DJ de música trance y productor de renombre mundial. En el año 2010 es considerado el sexto mejor DJ del mundo por TheDjlist, así como el quinto mejor DJ del mundo según las votaciones de DJmag, la cual le concedió el primer lugar en los años 2005 y 2006.
Su carrera como DJ empezó en 1991 en el club Turbine, un año después realiza su primera colaboración con Cosmic Baby. Su primer éxito llega en 1993 con el remix del tema “Love Stimulation” originalmente de Humate; cosa que iría en aumento gracias a su segundo álbum “Seven Ways”, es gracias a este que se le considera un pionero de la música trance.
A lo largo de su carrera ha lanzado “45 RPM” (1994), “Seven Ways” (1996), “Out There and Back” (2000), “Reflections” (2003), “In Between” (2007), “Evolution” (2012), “The Politics of Dancing 3” (2015), “From Then On” (2017), “Music Rescues Me” (2018) y “Guiding Light” (2020).
